	Special Education Advisory Council The Special Education Advisory Council is a group of parents and professionals charged by federal special education law and the State to provide policy guidance with respect to special education and related services for children with disabilities within the Commonwealth.
	Special Education Focus Groups The office of Special Education Planning and Policy Development periodically assembles focus groups to assist it in looking at questions related to special education policy. These focus groups are comprised of stakeholders from various fields who work with children with disabilities. The focus groups are task oriented and meet around various specific special education policy issues.
