Education Research Briefs
Education Research Briefs are short, readable, objective summaries and analyses of research and data related to current issues in education policy in Massachusetts. They are produced on an occasional basis and serve as one of the ways the Department promotes analysis of data as an input into the policy-making process.
Recent Education Research Briefs include:
Disproportionality: A Look at Special Education and Race in the Commonwealth, by Matthew Deninger
Connecting Activities: Making the Workplace a Learning Place, by Keith Westrich and Jennifer Leonard
Current Trends in School Finance, by Robert O'Donnell
Supply and demand of STEM workers in Massachusetts, by Carrie Conaway
