Wareham Public Schools and Virtual High School - In order to better understand the literature they were studying, students used the Internet to research the time and place in which the literature was written and then created travelogues presenting their findings.

North Shore Regional Vocational School District - Using census data from the Internet, students worked with spreadsheets to apply and compare various mathematical methods of Congressional apportionment for the years 1791 and 2001.

Arlington Public Schools - Working entirely in French, teams of students developed business plans for a restaurant in Paris, using the Internet for their research and then creating multimedia slide shows to present their plans.

Springfield Public Schools - Using Chinese language software, students created autobiographical essays and multimedia presentations, which they illustrated with digital photographs and illustrations.

Avon Public Schools - Using Photoshop, students explored various approaches for creating self-portraits reflecting their aspirations, relationships, cultural origins, and identities.

Needham Public Schools - Students explored the use of synthesizers and computers to create new music, adding modern percussion and bass elements that complemented the rhythms of a melody.
