Enhancing Educational Through Technology (Title IID) A component of "No Child Left Behind" Title IID recognizes the role technology can play in providing the best possible education for every student. The primary reason for using technology in the classroom is to increase student achievement. A secondary goal of Title IID is to ensure that all students are technologically literate by the time they finish eighth grade. The legislation also encourages the integration of technology with teacher training and curriculum development, with the objective of establishing proven best practices that can be widely replicated.
