Preparing Educators

The Office of Educator Preparation is dedicated to improving the academic and professional preparation of new teachers and other educators so they will serve students in Massachusetts effectively. Our goal is to make sure that all Massachusetts public schools are staffed by well qualified teachers, administrators, and other educational personnel. We achieve these goals by working with higher education institutions, school districts, and other organizations to strengthen preparation program development and accountability, and assessment of new educators.

Please be advised that this mailbox is dedicated to inquiries pertaining to approved educator preparation programs. This mailbox does not respond to and will delete all inquiries related to individual licensure cases. Questions related to individual licensure cases should be directed to the Licensure Office Helpline: 781-338-6600.
