Update for the Multi-Year Request for Proposals for Adult Basic Education

Please be advised that the following update is being sent to the organizations that submitted a letter of intent to apply for fund codes 340, 345, 359, 285, 563, and 287.

  • Applicants must submit a budget narrative that describes their matching funds. This narrative must include a description of the source of the matching funds.

  • The Frequently Asked Questions email will close December 31st at noon. We will not be able to respond to questions received after that date and time.

  • Proposals should be submitted in the following order:

    Part I - General Descriptor Signature Page, including the amount requested for each proposal;
    Part II - Budget Detail Pages, including all applicant agency contact information; budget narrative; matching funds budget narrative; Schedule B; Schedule C (if applicable);
    The Part II Budget Detail Pages should be stapled on top of the corresponding Part III Required Program Information pages.
    Part III - Required Program Information
    • Community Adult Learning Center including the information required for Set-aside funds;
    • Program Service Option 1 - ABE for the Homeless;
    • Program Service Option 2 - Participatory Health Education;
    • Program Service Option 3 - Family Literacy and
    • Program Service Option 4 - Volunteer Tutor Component
